A Full Heart

Dear Levi and Evan,

This is a post that you won’t understand for many years, but I want you to know how much this Christmas meant to us and how much Mommy and Daddy love you.  Daddy and I had so much fun doing shopping for you and Evan this year.  We knew that you would be so excited to get the train table that we could hardly wait to give it to you.  But, we waited and Daddy and I stayed up getting the table put together and wrapping your other presents.  We had you open all of your other gifts first and kept a blanket over the train table.   See we knew you would like the other gifts, but we knew you would LOVE the train table.  That thought got me thinking about how much we love you.  Daddy and I always knew that we wanted to have children to complete our family.  What we didn’t know is that when God blessed us with you how full our hearts would be.   Levi and Evan you have blessed Daddy and I with so much.  We have the best gift of all being able to be your Mommy and Daddy.  We love you and can’t wait to make more great memories with you as you grow.

  1. What a beautiful post. It’s scary how similar our lives are. Justin and I bought our boys a train table for Christmas too…stayed up till midnight putting it together Christmas Eve, covered it with a blanket and waited till last thing Christmas morning to show it to them. haha!
